Grandpa's Mountain
Grandpa had
A mountain
That I could
Climb any
Old time.
I started
When small,
Each
Year I
Grew tall,
And the
Mountaintop
Grew nearer.
It seemed
Impossible
At first.
But I
Never stopped
Trying,
Until one
Year I made it,
And felt like
Flying.
As I grew
Older and
Bolder
I climbed
Bigger mountains.
But none
Was as special
As Grandpa's
Mountain.
I am a
Green Mountain
Boy.
Climbing brings
Me joy.
Someday
I shall return,
For Grandpa's
Mountain,
I still yearn.
